These movies are to die for. They are forever fossilized in the history of impactful flicks. You’ll never grow tired of watching them. At some point, even if you know the story, you’ll still get affected by how the story goes.
A Walk to Remember
Landon Carter is guy on campus who joined a hazing which led to an incident where a fellow student became paralyzed. He was sentenced to community service and membership in his school’s drama club. He was forced to ask for help from Jamie Sullivan who was the daughter of the reverent of their church. They fell in love with each other and faced different challenges like the bullies of their school and their status quo. Eventually, Carter found out that Jaime has leukemia.
The story of the movie really gets into the hearts of everyone and makes everybody (who has a soft spot for doomed lovers) cry. This movie is immortal – it never gets old. The storyline of the movie is very different from the others and its attack is quite an attention-grabber. It’s one of the best movies ever made.
The Notebook
In a nursing home, Duke reads a story to an old woman who experience memory loss every single day. Duke conveys the story of two lovers who meet at a carnival. Allie was 17. A city girl with money, and Noah was a country boy. Allie’s parents eventually separated Noah and Allie. After waiting for Noah to write to her for several years, Allie met and got engaged with a handsome young soldier named Lon. In a local newspaper, Noah’s picture caught Allie’s eye. Noah restored the house he and Allie went to one night out of ‘labor of love’. Allie’s heart nearly busted. She stood enfolded in Noah’s arms in the great entryway and listened to his plans to buy and restore this house, just the way she wanted it. With her love for Noah still alive, the picture pulled at her heart. She has to go back, to see if Noah is okay, and tell him about her marriage. They both pondered on the love, deep in their hearts, the one that has lasted all these years.
Who wouldn’t cry over this movie? It is pure love which anyone can appreciate; the movie is 100% perfect for those who are in-love and even for those who are “out-of-love”. It is a heartfelt story of a guy and a girl that stuck with their promise and made their relationship last long.
A fairytale isn’t it?
