Apple’s shares recently breached the $600 level. This makes the company worth more than $500 billion – the most valuable in the world.
That amount is so huge that it probably doesn’t mean anything anymore to most people. Seriously, how many of us will ever accumulate anything remotely close to a fraction of that? It’s something we just read in the news and doesn’t really ‘count’.
But here’s something that we all can count. Back in 2005, Apple’s share price was hovering around $30. Imagine if you had bought then!
But the opportunity to buy may not be over yet as some analysts believe that Apple’s share price could even reach $1000. That would make the company the first to ever reach a $1 trillion market value.
